This project holds a special meaning for the entire Velosolutions West team. A memorial park for hometown hero Stevie Smith, it’s a place for future champions to be born and a world class pump track to honour our friend.   The Park is comprised of a smaller beginner level track and a larger more advanced competition level track. Both tracks are divided by a staging/hangout area. This track has been a destination for many professional riders and has hosted a Redbull Pump Track World Championships Qualifier since its inception—it has sent several Canadian Riders to the Championship event. Stevie Smith’s life and legacy are also commemorated in the documentary #LongLiveChaisaw and the Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation, the charitable foundation established after his death to inspire and empower the next generation of underprivileged racers.
